Fresh off the release of her latest single, Nashville-based singer-songwriter Madds Buckley is thrilled to announce her forthcoming album, My Love is Sick, out August 25th. Additionally, the up-and-coming artist will be headlining three special album release shows in Chicago, New York, and Boston, giving fans their first taste of her new music in a live setting. Tickets are on sale now and available at maddsbuckley.com. Madds shares: “There’s an overarching theme in My Love is Sick of framing yourself as something wrong, unworthy, or twisted: the wanting victim, the weed amongst flowers, the sinner in the pews, or the unknowing villain of your own story. Sometimes your past and the people you love leave you with a warped sense of self, and whether it’s accurate or not is up to you to find out. While the vast majority of these songs are not about me directly, they still carry the pain, the fear, and the joy that’s come with accepting myself as I am; a queer person learning to love.

Madds recently released her new single and title track from her forthcoming album, “My Love is Sick”. Known for creating music inspired by her favorite anime – including her My Hero Academia-inspired hit “The Red Means I Love You” – “My Love Is Sick” draws inspiration from Madds’ personal experiences. The result is a heartbreakingly beautiful track about the painful side of love.

Stayed tuned for more coming soon from Madds Buckley.
