Release Date: July 17, 2020 Genre: Pop Label: Independent Singer-songwriter Madison Olds from Kamloops, British Columbia is currently making her way to be Canada’s next breakout recording artist. Madison’s “Best Part of Me” showcases just that. Her brand new single is an anthemic uptempo pop tune that’s simply a reassuring reminder that at anytime you can take a moment for yourself to just feel sad. You don’t always have to be happy or be okay all the time.

Madison is still riding the wave of success of her 2017 debut single, “Moments in the Mountains,” as well as her debut effort, Blue, which lead her to a cornucopia of opportunities over the past two years of her music career. Madison went on to perform with some major hitters in music such as Willie Nelson, Kacey Musgraves, Neon Dreams, Scott Helman, and many more.

“Moments in the Mountains” was written for the Kamloops 2018 BC Winter Games, and was also selected as the soundtrack for the Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver, British Columbia. Madison’s follow-up single “Thank You” got her on the Canadian Hot AC Radio charts and resulted in her grabbing a top 10 spot in CBC’s Searchlight in 2019. In the Fall of 2019, all of her success landed her several international music showcases with Music Matters in Singapore, China. Madison also recently won first place at the International Songwriting Competition in the screenshot category, along with three honourable mentions in various other categories.

The remainder of Madison’s years is shaping up to be a big one. While she’s continuing to turn heads around the music industry, she is poised for her biggest year yet with the plan to release a few singles, a music video, and an EP, that all start with the release of “Best Part of Me.” Finally, “Best Part of Me” was recorded and produced at Echoplant Studios by Canadian producer Ryan Worsley, known best for his work with Dear Rouge, The Treble, and more. While the single was mastered by Chris Gehringer, and in his own right as mastered some very popular artists like Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Avril Lavigne, to name a very select few.
