Pretty Little Poison Tour: Warren Zeiders and Austin Williams - Winnipeg, MB

The pair of country artists Warren Zeiders and Austin Williams brought their electrifying energy to Winnipeg's Burton Cummings Theatre on March 25, 2024, for the Pretty Little Poison Tour, captivating the sellout audience with their pure raw talent and captivating performances. Austin Williams kicked off the night with a powerful forty-five-minute set, opening with "Bury My Bones," setting the tone for an energetic evening. The crowd was in complete awe as Austin delivered hit after hit, including "Stuck On Me," a surprise cover of Nickelback's "Rockstar," which had everyone singing along, and "Hurricane."

Williams showcased his versatility with a cover of Chase Matthew's "Moonlight," adding his own unique twist to the song. The highlight of his fantastic set was the nostalgic 90s Rap Mashup, which had the audience dancing and reminiscing about the 90s, singing along wholeheartedly with Austin. if you are unfamiliar with his 90s Rap Mashup, he performs an assortment of country twists to DMX's "Ruff Ryders’ Anthem," Nelly's "Country Grammar," Dr. Dre's "Nuthin' But a G Thang," Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's "1st of the Month," and City High's "What Would You Do?" to name a few.

Next to the stage was the man of the hour, Warren Zeiders, who immediately grabbed everyone's attention with the high-octane performance of "Up To No Good." His gravelly vocals and gritty lyrics captivated the audience, drawing them into his world.

Zeiders' set was a rollercoaster of emotions, from the haunting "Dark Night" to the anthemic "Coming Down High." He showcased his storytelling prowess with "Weeping Willow" and "Outskirts of Heaven," delivering each song with raw emotion and intensity.

The night reached the pinnacle with the tour title tune, "Pretty Little Poison," as Zeiders poured his heart and soul into the performance. The crowd was left in awe as he closed the show with "Burn It Down" and his hit "Ride the Lightning," leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.

Overall, Warren Zeiders and Austin Williams delivered a memorable night of country music to the Winnipeg audience, leaving the crowd eagerly anticipating their next stop in town.
