The Montreal, Quebec-based pop artist, Hanorah opened up the evening with an incredible set of pop music. Hanorah’s currently on tour with Cœur de pirate throughout Canada in support of her brand new EP, For the Good Guys and the Bad Guys, which will be released later this month on March 22, on Dare to Care Records.

Cœur de Pirate, French for Pirate’s Heart, is the French Canadian indie-pop favourite hailing out of Outremont, Quebec, and is currently touring across Canada on her Tempête Tour in support of her fifth studio album, En cas de tempête, ce jardin sera fermé, which translates to, “In case of a storm, this garden will be closed.” The album was released this past summer on June 1, 2018. The performance from Cœur de pirate in Winnipeg at the Burton Cummings Theatre marks the first Winnipeg performance in two years since she braced The Forks Stage for the 2017 Jeux du Canada Games.
