Sports Team brought their West Coast Tour to El Cid in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. The English rock band consists of Alex Rice (vocals), Robert Knaggs (lyrics, backing vocals, rhythm guitar), Henry Young (lead guitar, lap steel), Oli Dewdney (bass), Al Greenwood (drums), and Ben Mack (synths, piano & percussion). It was the last night of their West Coast Tour, which started in San Francisco on December 2nd.
They hit the stage at 8 PM and began their set. They performed some of their new songs and a couple of their older songs from their first EP. Sports Team has great stage energy, you could see how much fun they were having while performing, which was infectious. There wasn't a single person in the crowd who wasn't dancing along to their music. Everyone was either singing along or bobbing their heads to the music. A couple of fans even ended up going in front of the stage and started dancing in front of them. The energy, vocals and band's performance made for an awesome show to watch.Â
