For the first time, Florida-based acoustic pop-rock trio Boyce Avenue brought their heartfelt harmonies and signature sound to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, performing at the Club Regent Event Centre on October 11, 2025. Joined by special guest Jinky Vidal, the evening was an emotional and intimate celebration of music that blended nostalgia, connection, and pure artistry—the kind of show that reminds you why live music feels so personal.

Opening the night, Filipino singer-songwriter Jinky Vidal immediately captivated the audience with her velvety vocals and radiant stage presence. Her set balanced a mix of heartfelt originals and stunning covers, showcasing her range and charisma. One of the evening’s most touching moments came when she performed “Golden” by Huntrix (from the hit Netflix movie KPop Demon Hunters) alongside her daughter, filling the room with warmth and emotion. It was a family moment that transcended the stage, leaving the crowd visibly moved and cheering her on. When Boyce Avenue took the stage, the crowd erupted—a mix of long-time fans and first-timers eager to finally see the band live in Winnipeg after years of waiting. The Manzano brothers—Alejandro, Fabian, and Daniel—didn’t disappoint, delivering a flawless performance that perfectly balanced their well-loved originals with the viral covers that made them YouTube sensations.
Their setlist featured some of their most beloved originals, including “Hear Me Now,” “Cinderella,” “I’ll Be the One,” and “Be Somebody.” Alejandro’s soulful vocals shone on “Imperfect Me” and “Anchor,” both of which highlighted the band’s ability to craft songs that are both lyrically vulnerable and sonically rich. “On My Way” carried a sense of optimism and drive that resonated deeply with the audience—many of whom sang every word.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Boyce Avenue concert without their signature covers. The trio breathed new life into many classics, which included “Every Breath You Take” by The Police, “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri, and “Photograph” by Ed Sheeran—each reimagined with tender harmonies and the warmth of their signature acoustic sound.
As the night drew to a close, the band returned for a breathtaking encore that had the entire venue singing along. “Wonderwall” (Oasis), “Fix You” (Coldplay), and “Iris” (Goo Goo Dolls) were performed with such emotional intensity that it felt less like a performance and more like a collective moment of connection. Alejandro’s voice soared through the final chorus of “Iris,” the crowd’s voices joining his in perfect unison—a fitting finale for Boyce Avenue’s long-awaited Winnipeg debut.
Boyce Avenue’s first-ever performance in Winnipeg was nothing short of magical—a night of sincerity, nostalgia, and masterful musicianship. Paired with Jinky Vidal’s soulful opening set, it was an evening that reminded everyone why these songs—and these artists—have such enduring global appeal. For fans who had waited years to see the band live, it was more than a concert; it was an unforgettable shared experience that felt both deeply personal and universally uplifting.
