Off The Rez Tour: Stella Standingbear, Natasha Fisher, and Kenzie Love - Winnipeg, MB

Stella Standingbear’s return to Winnipeg felt different this time around. After making her Winnipeg debut previously in 2024, Standingbear came back to the city on September 24, 2026, for her first headline show in Winnipeg, bringing the Off The Rez Tour to The Handsome Daughter for a night that showcased not only her energetic live presence but also the growing momentum behind her music.

The intimate one-hundred-cap venue proved to be a fitting setting for an artist whose music thrives on connection. With Winnipeg's Kenzie Love and Ontario's Natasha Fisher joining the bill, the night steadily built from a three-artist showcase into a full-on celebration by the time Standingbear took the stage. Kenzie Love opened the evening with a concise five-song set, making the most of her time in front of the Winnipeg crowd. Her set established the tone for the night, culminating with “Bad Bitch,” which served as a confident closing statement and left the room ready for what came next.

For Natasha Fisher, the evening marked her first time performing in Winnipeg. Her set moved comfortably between released material and newer material, including an unreleased song that she said will be out at the end of October. Other songs such as “Shade of Blue,” “Ice In Bordeaux Wine,” “Be Something,” “Another Stranger,” “Behind My Eyes,” “The Motions,” and “The View” gave the audience plenty of opportunities to settle into Fisher’s pop punk/pop rock sound.

Her performance of a song by The Weeknd provided a recognizable moment in the set, while “Behind My Eyes” offered another glimpse into the more introspective side of her material. By the end of the set, Fisher had successfully introduced herself to a Winnipeg audience that was experiencing her live show for the first time. Then it was time for Stella Standingbear. Opening with “Go Mode,” Standingbear wasted little time establishing the pace for her headline performance. “Mmhmm” and “Keep It Burnin’” quickly followed, with the set continuing through “Too Fly,” “Rock The Boat,” and “Paradise.” Rather than simply moving from song to song, Standingbear treated the performance as a full experience, maintaining an infectious energy throughout.

“By My Side,” “Let’s Ride,” “Real One,” and “Blessings” kept the momentum moving, while “Views,” “My All,” and “Alright” showcased the breadth of her set. “Home Runs,” “Element,” “I’m On” and “Worldwide” pushed the performance even further, creating the kind of sustained energy that made it increasingly difficult for the crowd to remain still.

One of the night's memorable moments came with “Stellarrr.” After performing the song, Standingbear pulled out a Pokémon card pack and ripped it open on stage, adding an unexpected and playful moment to an already lively performance.

The set then moved into “Skoden,” first with the original version before transitioning into the newer version of “Skoden” once again. From there came “Pray 4 U,” followed by “Mmhmm (Paul Wall Remix),” bringing the main set to a close.

But the night wasn't quite finished. The Winnipeg audience wanted more, calling for one more song. Standingbear returned for an encore of “Stellarrr,” giving the Winnipeg crowd one final opportunity to celebrate the artist's first headline appearance in the city.

What made the night particularly notable was the sense of occasion surrounding it. Standingbear had already played Winnipeg once before, but this was her opportunity to return on her own terms as a headliner. The difference was evident in the scale and confidence of the performance.

The Off The Rez Tour stop also provided a showcase for three artists at different points in their respective journeys, with Kenzie Love kicking things off, Natasha Fisher making her Winnipeg debut, and Standingbear closing the night with a set that demonstrated why she was ready to headline the room.
